CommunityThe primary attribute classification field for this dataset is FEATURECODE. There are 11 possible road values which are:RARTLIN - Arterial - NRN Definition: A major thoroughfare with medium to large traffic capacity.RBRGLIN - Bridge - NRN Definition: A manmade construction that supports a road on a raised structure and serving to span an obstacle, river, another road or railway.RFERLIN - Ferry - NRN Definition: The average route a ferryboat takes when transporting vehicles between two fixed locations on the Road Network.RHPOLIN - Highway Pull Off - NRN Definition: A stretch of road permitting vehicles to come to a stop along a freeway or highway. Scale, service lane, emergency lane, lookout, and rest area.RHWYLIN - Highway - NRN Definition: A high-speed thoroughfare with a combination of controlled access intersections at any grade.RLANLIN - Lane or Alley - NRN Definition: A low-speed thoroughfare dedicated to provide access to the rear of properties.RRESLIN - Resource Road - NRN Definition: A narrow passage whose primary function is to provide access for resource extraction and may also have served in providing public access to the backcountry.RRMPLIN - Ramp - NRN Definition: A system of interconnecting roadways providing for the controlled movement between two or more roadways.RSTRLIN - Street - NRN Definition: A low-speed thoroughfare dedicated to provide full access to the front of properties.RTRLLIN - Trail - Non NRN definition: A narrow route not suitable for an automobile but suitable for an ATV or walking.RWINLIN - Winter - NRN Definition: A road that is only useable during the winter when conditions allow for passage over lakes, rivers, and wetlands.
