Description: This data is used to represent the lines that correspond to transportation features in the Northwest Territories. It provides a base to be used for land management purposes in representing the transportation features. This data set is not to be used for defining the exact location of transportation features; administrative decisions should be based on legal documents and legal survey plans. Road Centreines: This data represents such features as roads (asphalt, gravel, closed, access), sidewalks, curbs, trails, parking lots, railways, runways and airstrips within each community of the Northwest Territories. This represents the vector mapping provided to NRCan for the National Roads Network. The dataset is periodically updated on a community-wide scale.
