Description: This data is used to represent the elevation within each community of the Northwest Territories. It provides a base to be used for land management purposes in representing the topography within the communities. This data set is not to be used for defining the exact location of structures; administrative decisions should be based on legal documents and legal survey plans. Spot Elevations: This data represents elevations used to define the topography within each community of the Northwest Territories. Elevations are expressed as metres above sea level (ASL).
